Barnabas has both under- and post-graduate qualifications in music and education, nearly twenty years of experience as a performing drummer, and teaching experience ranging from Early Learning Centre through to tertiary level and beyond.
He has tutored privately in drum kit, percussion, music business, percussion, and music theory, and has conducted performances and workshop activities at junior, secondary, and tertiary levels in both city schools and regional centres.
